In 2019 we were introduced to Palestinian-Israeli brand Adish. Adish is an Palestinian-Israeli owned brand pairing contemporary silhouettes with traditional Palestinian craft techniques. Adish means ‘apathetic’ in Hebrew.
They have chosen this brand name because the majority of Israelis harbour apathy towards the occupation and the oppression of the Palestinian people - and to emphasise that there is no neutral position on the illegal occupation of Palestine. They work with traditional living crafts in Palestine to counter the systematic erasure of the Palestinian cultural heritage by the Israeli government.
Their central aim is to contribute to the expansion and flourishing of these workshops with every collection, while highlighting the crafts and the people behind them in each Adish piece.

Our ongoing collaboration together with Adish features Tatreez embroidered panels on garments dyed sweatshirts made from our 100% natural pima cotton from the Peruvian coastline.
Due to the complex situation of working with craft communities in occupied Palestine the embroidered panels has become the solution and characteristic of our collection. It gives the opportunity for our embroider’s to work from anywhere and makes shipping the panels logistically possible.
Our Fist logo is inspired by the feminist symbol with connotation to the civil rights movement and the power of unity.

The Tatreez panel is in Arabic of iconic lyric “One Love” by the legendary Bob Marley, who represents the spirit of co-existence and the liberation of the people.
The panel is sewn on without any finishing of the edges to symbolise the complexity of the production and design. The body is garment dyed to give it life as it will naturally age and fade together with texture of the panels edges.
